Kukujumuku Terms and Conditions of Use
Welcome to Kukujumuku’s Terms and Conditions of Use (these “Terms”). This is a contract between you and Kukujumuku (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”), and we want you to understand your rights and responsibilities before using the Kukujumuku website or application (the “App”). Please take a moment to read these Terms carefully before enjoying the App. By accessing, viewing, or using the App, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, please do not use the App.
We also encourage you to read our Community Guidelines (which are part of these Terms) and our Privacy Policy to understand how we protect your data and ensure a safe and respectful community.
1. Kukujumuku Rules
Before you can use the App, you will need to register for an account (“Account”). To create an Account, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your country of residence, whichever is higher.
- Be legally permitted to use the App by the laws of your home country.
We actively monitor for underage use and will terminate, suspend, or request verification of your Account if we suspect you are underage.
You can create an Account via manual registration or by using your Facebook login details. If you use Facebook, you authorize us to access, display, and use certain information from your Facebook account (e.g., profile pictures, relationship status, and location). For more details, check our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for all activity on your Account. Do not share your Account with others or use someone else’s Account without permission.
If you decide to leave Kukujumuku, you can delete your Account at any time by going to the Settings page and clicking Delete Account. Your Account will be deleted immediately, but it may take some time for your content to be fully removed. If you try to create a new Account using the same credentials shortly after deletion, we may reactivate your previous Account.
We use a combination of automated systems, user reports, and a team of moderators to monitor and review Accounts and content for violations of these Terms. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend any Account, restrict access to the App, or take other actions to enforce these Terms without prior notice. If your Account is terminated, you will not receive a refund for any paid services.
If you believe we’ve made a mistake in taking action against your Account or content, you may appeal the decision within six months. To appeal, follow the instructions in the notification you received or contact our support team.
2. Types of Content
There are three types of content on Kukujumuku:
- Your Content: Content you upload or provide.
- Member Content: Content provided by other users.
- Our Content: Content provided by Kukujumuku, including software, databases, and design elements.
Content Restrictions
Your Content and Member Content must comply with our Community Guidelines. Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to:
- Illegal or harmful content.
- Content that infringes on intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Offensive, abusive, or discriminatory material.
- Commercial activities, spam, or scams.
- Malware, viruses, or harmful code.
By uploading Your Content, you grant Kukujumuku a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and distribute it. You are solely responsible for Your Content and agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from it.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use your real name and age on your profile.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Treat other users with respect and follow our Community Guidelines.
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity or intentions.
- Harass, stalk, or bully other users.
- Use the App for commercial purposes or scams.
- Scrape, copy, or misuse any part of the App.
If you encounter abusive behavior or inappropriate content, you can report it directly from a user’s profile or in chat by clicking Block & Report. We will investigate and take appropriate action.
4. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using Kukujumuku, you consent to our data practices as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
5. Payment Terms
Kukujumuku may offer premium services or subscriptions for purchase. If you choose to subscribe, you agree to the following:
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
- Payments are processed through third-party platforms (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store).
- Refunds are generally not provided, except as required by law.
To cancel a subscription, follow the instructions in your Account settings or contact the third-party platform where you made the purchase.
6. Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with Kukujumuku, we encourage you to contact us first to resolve the issue informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute, it will be settled through binding arbitration, unless you opt out of arbitration within 30 days of creating your Account.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your Account at any time for violations of these Terms or inappropriate conduct. If your Account is terminated, you will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your subscription.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Kukujumuku operates. Any disputes not resolved through arbitration will be settled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of Kukujumuku after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
